Profile

I didn't come to online gambling writing through enthusiasm for the industry. I came through frustration - as someone who spent years making poor choices based on poorly written, clearly incentivized reviews. That experience shaped how I approach this work: not as a promoter, but as someone who would rather give you an honest read before you deposit.

My Approach

My Approach

Writing about online casinos in Canada means writing for a specific kind of reader - someone who has real money on the table and real questions about whether a platform deserves it. My job is to answer those questions as clearly as possible, without softening the parts that deserve scrutiny. I don't treat a casino as a product to sell; I treat it as a subject to examine.

When I evaluate a platform, I work through a consistent set of criteria: licensing and regulatory standing, bonus structures and the terms buried underneath them, the depth and quality of the game library, payment options and processing timelines, and how support actually performs under pressure - not just what the FAQ page says. If a casino excels in one area and cuts corners in another, I say both things explicitly.

I try to stay uncomfortable with easy conclusions. A strong welcome offer means nothing if the wagering requirements make it functionally unreachable. A wide game selection is only useful if the software runs reliably. I don't score platforms on a curve because they're popular or widely promoted. What I write reflects what I actually find - and where the picture is mixed, I leave the mixed picture intact rather than resolving it in someone's favor.

Currently, I contribute to king-billy-casino-ca.com, a project focused on the Canadian online casino market. I work with platforms where editorial independence isn't negotiated away in exchange for placement.
